JG Towing's referral program is built for the businesses that already see drivers needing tows every week — body shops with customers whose cars don't drive in, dealerships whose service customers strand themselves on the way to the appointment, fleet managers whose vans break down on commercial routes, and insurance adjusters who need a clean operator for claim tows. If you're sending us a few jobs a month, we should be paying you for it.

How the program works

Three tiers based on volume. Pick whichever fits your business:

Casual referral — per-job fee

You refer a driver to call us, the driver completes a tow job, we pay you a flat per-job referral fee within 7 days of job completion. Standard rate is $25 per qualifying tow job; higher for accident-recovery jobs with full insurance paperwork. Track-and-pay handled by our office — just give the driver your name or shop name when they call so we can attribute the lead. No paperwork required from you on casual referrals beyond letting us know who sent the customer.

Partner shop — net-30 + priority dispatch

For body shops, mechanics, and dealerships sending 5+ jobs/month to us. Benefits:

  • Net-30 invoicing on tows we deliver to your shop. You don't collect from the customer at our truck — we send you a monthly invoice and you pay it within 30 days.
  • Priority dispatch line — separate inbound channel that skips the consumer-call queue. When your service writer needs a flatbed at the shop in 30 minutes, the call gets answered and dispatched faster.
  • Volume rate. Shops sending 10+ jobs/month qualify for a discounted base rate per tow vs. consumer pricing.
  • Photo + invoice integration. We email the pre-load photos, signed authorization, and itemized invoice directly to your service writer's email so the file is ready when the customer arrives.

Insurance carrier / adjuster — direct billing

For carriers and independent adjusters who need a consent-only tow operator with proper documentation:

  • Direct carrier billing via standard tow subrogation workflow. We bill the carrier, you don't have to reimburse the claimant first.
  • Full subrogation paperwork set — timestamped scene photos (before/during/after), signed driver authorization, itemized invoice with the line items carriers actually need, drop confirmation. Standard package with every accident tow.
  • Direct adjuster line. No consumer queue. You call, we confirm coverage authority, dispatch.
  • Body shop choice respected. NY law: claimant picks the body shop. We honor that. We don't deliver to a "preferred network" shop unless the claimant agrees in writing.

What we don't do

Two important boundaries:

We don't kick back to body shops. The referral fee structure is the visible, accountable, paid-by-us relationship. We don't cut side deals where a body shop pays us to send vehicles their way (that would be steering customers against their interest — illegal in NY for insurance-claim tows, unethical for any tow). The directional flow is one-way: shop refers to us, we pay shop. Vehicle destination is customer choice, every time.

We don't accept police-rotation referrals. We're not on the NYPD non-consent rotation list. If you're an officer trying to clear a non-consent scene tow, call the rotation operator. If you're an officer at an accident scene and the driver wants to choose their own tow, we welcome the referral — but it has to be the driver's call, not the officer's.

How payments work

Casual referrals: $25 per qualifying tow, mailed check or Zelle within 7 days of job completion. We log the referral on our side; you can audit your monthly volume against our records.

Partner shops on net-30: Standard B2B invoicing. Monthly statement, line-itemized by job, invoice terms net-30. Pay by ACH, check, or Zelle. Late payment terms in our standard partner agreement (which we'll send if you ask — no surprises).

Carrier direct-bill: We bill the carrier directly via tow subrogation. The claimant doesn't pay us at the scene, the carrier doesn't reimburse the claimant, the money flow goes straight from carrier accounts payable to us. Standard industry workflow.

How to apply

Text or call (347) 539-9726 with:

  1. Your shop, dealership, fleet, or carrier name
  2. Estimated tow volume per month you'd send our way (be honest — we'd rather start small and grow than overcommit)
  3. Your contact email for invoicing and paperwork
  4. Whether you're looking at the casual, partner, or carrier-direct tier

We respond within 1 business day with the next step. For partner shops we send a one-page agreement to sign. For carrier-direct, we exchange COIs and add you to our authorized billing list. For casual referrals, we just need your payment info on file — no agreement required.
